Why Forecast

With 26 years of surfing and over 3,500 boards delivered to Japanese surfers, I don’t put my name behind a brand lightly.

I ordered a Forecast Grouse 5’8" and rode it at Shogitahama. It was immediately different from any EPS/epoxy board I’d ridden before. None of the flutter you get from a standard EPS/epoxy. None of the dead stiffness you get from carbon. It had the living feel underfoot that you expect from a PU board. Hold through the bottom turn. Release off the lip. A board that just works.

That session convinced me. Japan needs this brand.

About Forecast

Forecast Surf is a hand-shaped surfboard brand manufactured in Sardinia, Italy. Every board is built through a 7-stage process called the BioCraft® system — a proprietary composite structure combining EPS foam, epoxy resin, basalt fiber, Innegra, and natural cork. The result is a board that is 2 to 3 times stronger than a standard PU board, while remaining lightweight with a refined flex pattern.
